Joanna Ho and Caroline Kusin Pritchard’s friendship began over donuts and sprinklers when they used to live a five-minute rollerblade ride away from each other. The serendipity of debut books releasing the same year led to countless late night pizza and ice cream gab sessions on the couch. They’re giddy to shift these conversations about craft, writing, and life from the cozy corner of the couch to this cozy corner of the podcasting world and can’t wait for you to join!

Joanna Ho is the New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of many books for kids, including Eyes that Kiss in the Corners, Playing at the Border: A Story of Yo-Yo Ma, One Day and The Silence that Binds Us, her debut YA novel that received the Asian/Pacific American Award for Children’s Literature Honor. She has also received a Golden Kite Award, an Ezra Jack Keats Honor, and a Golden Poppy Award. Joanna is a writer and educator with a passion for anti-bias, anti-racism and equity work.
